Rotex Automation: When Corporate Stories Meet Creative Truths
Sometimes, the most memorable journeys begin in the most unexpected ways. We were in Goa, shooting a factory video for a client. But what happened next was anything but ordinary.
Impressed by our work, the client recommended us to Rotex Automation, a global leader in fluid control and automation, based in Baroda. For storytellers like us, each collaboration becomes part of our creative legacy—like medallions we collect along the way. So, without hesitation, we said yes.
Understanding the Brand: Rotex Automation at a Glance
Before diving into the shoot, we immersed ourselves in understanding Rotex.
Rotex Automation has been serving industries such as oil & gas, power, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals since 1967. With a global footprint in over 30 countries, the company delivers custom automation solutions—built on a foundation of quality, innovation, and sustainability.
Shaping a Script into a Story
Upon connecting with their marketing team, we discovered they already had a script in place. While informative, it leaned more toward a traditional brand narrative. As storytellers, we knew there was an opportunity to elevate this—to transform information into emotion.
We proposed shaping their script into a story-driven narrative that wouldn’t just speak to the audience, but draw them in. Because great brand films don’t just inform—they build tribes, and tribes build loyalty. Together, we rewrote the script—merging their marketing insights with our storytelling structure.
The Crew, The Plan, The Process
Our compact crew of three—Director Ravneet, Producer Karuna, and Cinematographer Bharat—left for Vadodra a district in Gujarat,India ready to bring the story to life. To optimize costs and support the local creative community, we outsourced the remaining crew members from Vadodra itself.
We approached Day 1 like we always do—with a blueprint:
Location scouting ✔️
Shot-by-shot script ✔️
Pre-production logistics✔️
Moodboards approved ✔️
Schedule finalized: ✔️
What made the process seamless was our blend of human creativity and AI support—specifically tools like Musey an Ai agent made for filmmakers that helped us streamline planning and production flow.
On Set with Rotex
The shoot began right on schedule. Thanks to the detailed pre-production, every shot flowed effortlessly. The moodboards we’d locked in earlier became visual anchors on set. Day 3 was when we had our flight back to Delhi but luckily we successfully met the deadline and then with hard drives full and hearts full of satisfaction, we returned to Delhi—carrying not just footage, but yet another meaningful story.
Post-Production and Final Delivery
Back at the studio, we began editing and refining the piece. Collaboratively, we made a few motif changes based on feedback from the Rotex team, and soon the final cut was ready.
The response? They loved it.
What We Learned (And Taught)
Every project leaves us with a lesson, and this one was no different. One key takeaway: educating clients about the power of storytelling in brand marketing is just as important as executing the film itself. We didn’t just help revise a script—we helped reshape how the brand’s story could be told.
Because in the end, it’s storytellers who shape not just narratives—but the way audiences remember a brand
